About Me

I am a music industry professional from Birmingham, England with 25 years of experience in the music business. The first 12 years of my career were spent as a recording artist before evolving into a songwriter and producer for a range of projects. I have also spent time working in music publishing, sync and A&R and I also lecturer part time at both undergraduate and post graduate level in music creation and music business. I have been fortunate enough to have had releases on a variety of major and independent labels and a range of sync placements which leaves me with an active catalogue of songs and instrumentals that are consistently being added to throughout my career.

I am the author of The Music Business for Music Creators (published by Routledge in 2024) and the director of The SongLab Ltd and Candy Cube Records.
